Sunshine and Summer is here (I think!)
Up here, summer is finicky. One day it's beautiful, sunny and 70 degrees and the next, frost warnings.
I have all of my garden planted now (veggies anyway) and now it's time to focus on the flowers around the house. Yes, while flowers and outdoor landscaping is important, food is more important, so that comes first. There are a few more rows of stuff to plant but they're not necessary. More beans, peas and spinach and then it's done.
So, after dinner, we can relax, put the kayaks in the car and go to the lake. Hubby fishes and I just stare into the water and unwind.
That was the plan until I crashed my bike. No serious damage to either myself or my bike (ribs) but it did knock me out of the lifting and pulling for a while.
Yeah, ribs hurt. Thankfully mine were only bruised, and Pegasus (my beloved bike) suffered only a small dent. And, thankfully, there were 2 young men close who saw me go down and literally sprinted over to help. Yeah, it was embarrassing but it is what it is. Oh, they also picked up my bike for me as due to the rib issue, I wasn't doing it.
But anyway, you're not here for that nonsense, are you?
So, I'll get to it. Today's new pattern is perfect for your summer decor. With cool colors and hexagons, this pattern features 2 sizes and is a quick sew up.
I present Summer Hex!
